Our Goals:

We have identified three primary goals for Riverside church for the next three years. They are listed below in our suggested order of priority. We believe it is important to focus on a few goals and deliver them successfully.

• Attract new followers by making our presence and purpose known to everyone in the local community through our evangelism, worship, outreach, actions, deeds and service. Our key focus will be on adults and families in the 25 to 45 age group who have no church home. This goal includes:
  
  • Expanding our forms of worship by providing a contemporary worship service.
  • Providing more variety in music at worship services to enhance the worship experience.
  • Expanding our church fellowship and local ministry through a variety of activities (e.g. recreation, sports, intergenerational activities, classes,).
• Expand and equip our leadership base through education, mentoring, service, and mission opportunities.
• Encourage each church member’s personal journey of faith, commitment, connectivity and action by providing:
  
  • A standard basic foundation for understanding the Bible, basic theology and history, and form of Presbyterian government.
  • Continued growth in religion and faith through education, mentoring, service, fellowship, and mission while providing the tools necessary to convert a person’s faith into action and ministry.
