Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I sign up to provide flowers for the worship service?
      
   Worship Flowers are placed in the Chapel and moved to the Sanctuary for every Sunday service.  The flower sign up poster is located in the narthex of the Sanctuary.  The worship flower coordinator will contact you the week prior to the service for your order and for the wording of the dedication you wish to present in the bulletin.
      
2. How do I put a notice in the bulletin/website/newsletter?
      
   Contact the church office with your submission.  All submissions may be edited.  Items for the website should be sent to the webmaster at webmaster@riversidepres.org.
      
3. How do I get a prayer concern before the Congregation?
     
   Contact the church office with your concern.  Please be sure that you have the individual’s permission to share the concern.  You may also write your prayer request on a blue card found in the pew pockets and place it in the offering plate.
      
4. How do I check out a book from the library?
     
   A file box with directions for checking out materials is located on the desk in the library.  The library is located in the church office.
     
5. Is there a RPC membership directory?
     
   Copies of the current Membership Directory can be found in the Judea Room in Knox Hall.
     
6. Is there childcare offered during the Worship service?
     
   Yes, we have a nursery attendant who cares for children from birth to age 5 from 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM each Sunday.  The nursery is located in the wing between Knox Hall and Calvin Hall.
     
7. How can I get access to the church during non business hours?
     
   The church is typically locked during non-business hours.  Please contact the church office and arrange access.
