Sitting at the Feet of Jesus

A Bible study of the Galilean ministry of Jesus, focused on the parables, miracles, and teachings of Jesus – as it applies to our daily lives.  We will seek to draw closer to Jesus, studying his life and listening to his teachings in the book of Matthew.   What do his words tell us about our Christian and Presbyterian beliefs?  How do we live our lives according to his example and commands?

1st Corinthians

Do you know your spiritual gifts and how they should be used?  Do you know how to face problems we have as Christians in our daily living?  Do you know the certainty of the resurrection?

If you feel that you know all these things, then we need you to come and assist our understanding!  If you have questions and/or doubts about these things, then we need you to come and discuss them with us so that we all may grow in knowledge of the Lord!  Either way, we need your contributions as we start the New Year with the new study of 1 Corinthians.

The Story Of Jesus

Where: Capernaum in Calvin Hall
Storyteller: Mason Gibson

Tell Me the Old, Old Story!

Do you want to sit and listen to the story of Jesus?   Do you want to know more about our Lord and the times, people and places around him?   Do you want to get to know Jesus, his apostles, the women around him, Herod, John the Baptist, Pharisees, Sadducees, Samaritans, Scribes, Levites, etc.?   What was it that Jesus said to these people in a remote part of the world that grabbed the attention of the whole world?   Well, it was called Salvation and it is awesome to listen to.

Each week a new story of Jesus is told.   Drop in anytime since there is no beginning nor end.

In the Dust of the Rabbi

Meets every Sunday except he third Sunday of the month.   We will be doing a Ray Vander Laan study In the Dust of the Rabbi.   We will learn how the culture and politics of the first century influenced the imagery and stories of the Bible.   Join us as we journey through Galilee and Asia Minor, a region where the rabbinic practice of selecting disciples was well-known, where disciples walked the walk Rabbi Jesus taught them.
